When the 2021-2022 school year ends, so do the free meals for every student. A federal government funded program that allowed all students access to free breakfast and lunch during the COVID-19 pandemic has come to an end. The USDA has decided that breakfast and lunch will resume being paid starting in August for the 2022-2023 school year. This was not a local decision, but a decision made by USDA and Federal Government. Students may still qualify for free or reduced priced meals. An application for Free & Reduced-Price School Meals will be available when school registration opens for the 2022-2023 school year. We encourage all families to fill out this application. If qualified, the reduced price is $0.30 for breakfast and $0.40 for lunch. We appreciate your understanding.
