GOLDEN FOOTBALL: On behalf of the NFL, they would like to congratulate the George-Little Rock High School and welcome us to the Super Bowl High School Honor Roll community celebrating schools that have contributed to Super Bowl history.
The Super Bowl High School Honor Roll was created last year as part of the Super Bowl 50 celebration. This program honors the high school and communities that have positively impacted the game of football. Nearly 3000 players and head coaches, from more than 2,000 high schools were recognized last season with the presentation of a commemorative Golden Football by Wilson.
High Schools across the country and globe received a commemorative Golden Football produced by Wilson for every player or head coach who graduated from the high school and was on an active Super Bowl roster.
We received a Golden Football to honor Tyler Starr, who was on the active roster in Super Bowl LI and is also a graduate of George-Little Rock High School.
The NFL is proud to induct our high school in to the Super Bowl High School Honor Roll. This Golden Football is displayed in the High School office until it will be placed in the trophy case.
