ALL LUNCH ACCOUNTS MUST BE PAID IN FULL BY THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL.  THE STATE HAS ISSUED NEW POLICIES ON UNPAID LUNCH ACCOUNTS WHICH WILL COME INTO EFFECT STARTING IN JULY.  EVERYONE WILL BE NOTIFIED OF THE NEW POLICY FOR THE UPCOMING YEAR.  IF CHILDREN HAVE A MINUS BALANCE AT THIS TIME THEY MAY NOT HAVE ANY EXTRAS OR SECONDS WITHOUT CASH.

FOOTBALL CAMP AT CENTRAL LYON FOR  1st – 6th GRADE WILL NOW BE HELD ON FRIDAY, MAY 12 FROM 5:00 – 7:00 PM

MAY 24 and May 25 MAKE-UP DAYS FOR SNOW DAYS.  LAST DAY IS MAY 25.

MAY 22 – TRACK AND FIELD DAY  Rain or Shine.

Health Services of Lyon County still has flu vaccinations for adults and children, call     712-472-8200 if you have questions or need the vaccination.

REMINDER:  Students should not be at school before 7:45 a.m.  The doors will remain locked until this time.  Breakfast starts at 7:45 with the shuttle leaving at 8:00 and classes beginning at 8:15.  There is no supervision in the building and children have been reporting early, roaming the building and messing around outside.

Reminder:  We celebrate birthdays in your child’s class.  Half-Birthdays are also celebrated. We request you send healthy treats and make sure there are no allergies in your child’s class (such as peanuts, gluten free).

If you child is not going to be in school, please call the office at 712-475-3675 and if ill, give their symptoms for not being in school.  Also, if your child has plans after school that are not their normal routine, we need an e-mail, text, note or phone call so we know where they are scheduled to go.

Remember to save your  Box Tops and Tyson Food Labels and Pizza Ranch Pizza Rounds.  The school makes money from these items.  We are still collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House,
